We had chickens which were pulling feathers out of our White chicken and it looked sore. I used the Purple Antiseptic Wound Spray on my chickens, and it’s working really well — their wounds are healing quickly and without fuss. Also the other chickens don't see to be pecking her anymore. The spray is gentle and non-sting, so the birds don’t stress out when applying it. After a few applications, the treated areas are looking much better (and amusingly, a bit like Sonic the Hedgehog with the purple tint!).Pros:Seems to prevent other chickens pecking at the areaGentle, non-stinging formula for animalsEffective against bacteria and fungiWorks well on cuts, scrapes, and minor skin issuesEasy spray applicationCons:Purple coloring can stain hands or surfaces if not carefulOnly for minor wounds; severe injuries still need a vetSpray nozzle could be a bit more precise (wide spray)
Goatie didn’t mind it too much and flies kept away. Gave me peace of mind so worth it.
Works really well !
I bought this product to spray a wound on a stray cat. It is pump operated so it does help not making a huge hissing sound scaring the cat. The liquid is purple. Please take care when spraying that it does not hit any hard surfaces as it stains purple and cannot be removed with just water. The cat is healing well. It is a large bottle so value for money. It has no smell and is easy to use. Would recommend this purchase.
Used this when one of our ducks had pulled out some feathers and had a sore, cleared up quickly and very pleased.

Purple Spray is a ready-to-use purple wound spray for horses, dogs and other animals. It is designed for quick, targeted use on minor cuts, grazes, scrapes, rubs and small skin marks where a simple cleansing spray is needed.
Made with chlorhexidine digluconate 0.05% w/v, it helps support good skin hygiene around minor wounds and affected areas. The purple colour makes it easy to see where the spray has been applied, which is useful when treating legs, thicker coats, awkward areas or animals that are difficult to check closely.
This spray is especially useful for yards, stables, dog owners, smallholders and animal first aid kits. It can be used after minor field knocks, rug rubs, stable scuffs, small scrapes, scratches and general everyday skin marks.
Unlike a clear wound spray, Purple Spray leaves a visible purple mark, helping you see coverage at a glance. It is a practical choice for animal owners who want a simple, visible and easy-to-apply wound spray for everyday animal care.
